March is the end of winter and the month of new beginnings on both land and sea. Off the coast of Baja California Sur, Mexico, whales come in to bays to give birth in March. It is a signal that a new season is beginning. So it is with the turtles - they must come to shore to lay their eggs.
March is also the season of Lent - a season of pondering and remembering the life of Jesus and how much he cares for us.
