Introducing the newest member of our team: Daniela Caloca is serving full time in Centro Educativo Vástago. She is a math and science tutor for high school students. She is the STEAM coordinator of this education ministry and has developed as a STEAM instructor for 7 years being involved with local organizations in sharing STEAM opportunities with different communities. Experiences like Space Academy for Educators have helped her partner with teachers around the globe to impact the lives of future generations.
July is here and summer has begun. What are your plans this summer? Have you written out your summer bucket list? I know that for me going to the beach and visiting an amusement park are two things that can't be missing on this list. Summer is also a great time to connect with family and friends. Maybe even a great time to visit out of state or out of country relatives. Whatever the case is, make sure to add to your bucket list spending time with your family and friends. Make it a project where you each week you build a new section of an amusement park, maybe even one that is next to a beach. One week you could build a rollercoaster, and the next a churro stand. Have fun and have great conversations as you build. Don't forget to take pictures and feel free to share them with us through our website. We would love to see how these prompts inspire you to build.
